Hi! I am Kristen =)

I’ve always dreamt of a house full of family, joy, and love. I'm so excited to start this journey and cannot wait to add a child to my loving home and life. I have an amazing, welcoming family, and a neighborhood and community that is excited to welcome a new baby!

Are you Pregnant & Considering Adoption?

I remember even as a young girl dreaming that one day I will adopt a baby. I’ve been working hard to create a home, life, and community where a child would thrive and I’m finally here and so excited for the next chapter! 


I’m originally from Massachusetts and moved to the Bay Area in the early 2000s for graduate school. Over the years my mom and our neighbors (who are essentially extended family) followed. I have an amazing community of friends and family who are so excited to bring another baby into the mix.

My story that led me here today...

My Financial Stability

I am a family physician with a specialty in Maternal and Child Health (so I know A LOT about raising healthy, happy kids!) I also hold a Masters in Public Health. I am currently a Senior Medical Director at a telemedicine company with an incredibly reliable job and many opportunities for growth professionally. 

I’m so lucky to work from home and have a very flexible schedule that will allow me to prioritize a baby.

I can't wait to raise a child in a supportive and loving home with a stable financial foundation that will only solidify endless opportunities for their future. =)

I am blessed to have both my blood and chosen family close by. My mom lives in Santa Cruz (about 50 miles from me) where we have a strong community of neighbors that we’ve had for over 30 years! 

In my neighborhood I’ve been able to grow my own community of caring friends who support me like family. I’ve had the opportunity to be there for them as they’ve grown their families and they’re now excited to support me in this part of my journey. My close friends have children ranging from newborns to teenagers and much of our social life revolves around activities people of all ages can enjoy. 

My community is diverse in many ways and this is very important to me. I want to make sure my baby grows up around people with a range of identities and histories and that they learn to value difference as something to be celebrated not feared.

Personality

I’m passionate about empowering people with tools to live their best life! I have a special place in my heart for teenagers and pregnant women. My first job after residency was in a teen tot clinic. I care a lot about helping families thrive=)


I try to find the positive in every situation. I see challenges as opportunities for growth and I’m always excited to learn more. I hope to bring that curiosity and joy about life into my family as it continues to grow.


Diversity in experiences, people, and life is something I hope to share with my child. I love living in the Bay Area because my baby will have opportunities to learn about people from all different backgrounds and have a variety of experiences. 

I love being active. I also love the sunshine and the beach and go to visit my aunt and uncle in Kauai at least once a year. Hiking with my dog in the hills near my house is one of my favorite activities! Also, spending time by the beach with my family in Santa Cruz.


I am of Italian heritage and speak Spanish and Italian and Portuguese!  I'd love to teach my child Spanish and maybe both Spanish and Italian. 


Health and wellbeing are important to me but also believe in moderation =) I am not obsessive about diet or exercise and believe true health is physical, mental, and social well-being. I find joy in caring for myself and others and hope to instill this balance in my child.

The Life I Will Provide for This Child

My neighborhood is kid friendly, I live within walking distance of an elementary and middle school. Children ride bikes and play together.  My home and the life I have are perfect for a baby to be their happiest self and thrive!  They will feel safe, loved, and protected. 


My baby will have space to explore, grow, and be curious. They will be able to spend a lot of time outside because the weather is mild and there are lots of forests and parks within walking distance from the house where we can go for a stroll or walk together. We will travel often and they will meet different people, see places around the world and try amazing ctivities.


I believe I was put on this earth to spread light, love, and joy. I tend to see the best in people even when they can’t see it themselves. I love helping people find their strengths. Especially when it means overcoming fear. I already have so much love in my heart for this baby. I can’t wait to show them all of the ways that the earth that we live on is special.


Love will be the key word for my kid's life.
